i was 16 years old when i got hold of the promo cd of Luniz - I Got 5 On It. i picked it up from a shop called "Steve's Sounds" in China Town, Central London.. along with some other hip-hop and new jack swing cds that were current at the time. this was about 6 months prior to commercial release of the Luniz single anywhere in the world.. and i had no idea what it was at the time; but after listening to it, i took it physically to two pirate radio stations in North London.. and from those sources it got out to the rest of the city.. and on and on it went for the UK.
anyway, the levels seem a bit off to me from MPX's package.. and so i've since gotten hold of the WAV file, and cast a few spells on it.. you can get my 320 here should you be interested.
i've followed group MPX closely for many years, and my love and respect for them is endless.
